I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's location, overlooking one of the most fascinating buildings in Cartagena. The rooms, though not particularly large, were spotlessly clean and more than adequate. The lack of air conditioning made the room quite hot, but opening the doors helped bring in fresher, cooler air.

The room I got was rather snug and not what I expected, missing some upgrades I had booked, but it was worth the small extra cost for a corner room with a large terrace. However, the attempt to overcharge me at check-out was a major disappointment, especially on my wife's birthday.
